This art quilt idea has been simmering in my brain for a long time, and I was finally ready to bring it to life on canvas....It's got lots of little pieces, lots of thread and color changes , but the stitches are very simple.  This is DEFINITELY a color challenge!

SUPPLIES: It uses Watercolours' 192 plus DMC #5 pearl cottons: 333, 550, 552, 718, 792, 823; and DMC floss 553, 554, 791, 793, 794, 799, 807, 992, 3814, and metallic ribbons Treasure Ribbon Petite PR08, PR11, PR24, PR43 (or Kreinik 1/16 ribbon 12, 24, 29 33); done on 16" x 16" piece of 18 mono canvas in lt blue or grey.
